Wake Forest — Lightning struck the Piranhas July 8 against the Heritage Betas, where weather ended the meet before the freestyle relays.

The official score after the butterfly event was 240 for the Betas, 225 for the Piranhas.

Scoring points for the Piranhas were:

Medley Relay

First place — 7-8 boys David Mills, Cameron Mays, Charlie Woodlief and Ian Cope; 9-10 girls Brenna Hardy, Hannah Moore, Anna Luckenbach and Kristin Olson; 13-14 boys Seth Wheeler, Matt Lang, Miles Addison and Brandon Bobbitt; 13-14 girls Kelsey Moore, Bayley Harmon, Kim Do and Alyssa Birchard; 15-18 boys Jack Friesen, Lucas Matuszewski, Lee Addison and Blake Addison; and 15-18 girls Sierra Wheeler, Ellen Shaw, Emily Korostynski and Lindsay Cardamone.

Freestyle First — Dax Hardy, Ian Cope, Christian Sebastiani, Anna Luckenbach, Rachel Shaw, Kelsey Moore, Lee Addison and Emily Korostynski. Second — Emma Rutherford, Miles Addison, Bayley Harmon, Blake Addison and Sierra Wheeler. Third — Cameron Mays, Camryn Lamm, Amber Ayscue, Matt Lang and Gabe Pitzel.

Backstroke

First — Avery Wynn, Lainey Anderson, Ian Cope, Anna Luckenbach, Rachel Shaw, Matt Lang and Kelsey Moore. Second — Douglas Lewis, Lee Addison and Sierra Wheeler. Third — Christian Sebastiani, Seth Wheeler, Gabe Pitzel and Lindsay Cardamone.

Breaststroke

First — Avery Wynn, Hannah Moore, Blake Addison and Emily Korostynski. Second — Lainey Anderson, Amber Ayscue, Matt Lang and Jack Friesen. Third — Cameron Mays, Brenna Hardy, Martin Matuszewski, Miles Addison, Bayley Harmon and Ellen Shaw.

Butterfly

First — Rachel Shaw, Miles Addison, Kelsey Moore, Lee Addison and Emily Korostynski. Second — Cameron Mays, Emma Rutherford, Anna Luckenbach, Blake Addison and Sierra Wheeler. Third — Charlie Woodlief, Martin Matuszewski, Seth Wheeler, Gabe Pitzel and Christin Birchard.

Triple winners for Planters Walk were Rachel Shaw for the 11-12 girls, Kelsey Moore for the 13-14 girls and Emily Korostynski for the 15-18 girls. Scoring double wins for the 6U boys were Dax Hardy and Avery Wynn.
