Knightdale — Despite some exciting swims from the Piranhas, Planter's Walk fell to the Falls River Club 185.5 to 328.5 in the first meet of 2008.

Triple winners for the Piranhas were Logan Anderson for the 9-10 boys, Rachel Shaw for the 11-12 girls and Christian Mason for the 13-14 boys. Lainey Anderson was a double winner for the 6U girls.
