Brownie Troop 1430 planted flowers outside the post office in Zebulon May 1. The girls worked toward merit badges for the planting of trees, bushes and flowers offered by the North Carolina Zoo. Although the badges only required one planting, the troop hopes to keep up with the natural area at the post office.
