The Capital Bank branch in Zebulon opened in Zebulon at 1260 North Arendell Avenue.

Bank officials made it official with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and remarks from G. Grant Yarber, the president and chief executive officer of the bank, and Bill Clement, city executive.

The bank staff held a reception for bank officials and members of the community who came out to welcome the new financial institution to town.
